“ Wonderful food, cocktails, and a knowledgeable staff. Enjoyed a martini, a shared bottle of wine for half off happy hour and some yummy pasta. Their mushroom pasta is something I will order for myself next time as the crab ravioli was just a tad under-seasoned. Overall though, I look forward to another experience in this cute hideaway. ”
“ What an amazing restaurant! We made reservations day of and came during their happy hour time. The staff was very kind and actually reseated us as our initial table neighbors showed their frustrations of having someone seated right next to their table. I guess they wanted some space... either way the food and drinks were amazing! Happy hour had fabulous options and the Negroni had a pistachio flavor that was so unique and special that I actually ordered a second. Would highly recommend this place for a fun outing with family or friends! ”
“ Okay by far my favorite restaurant in Scottsdale! I saw this on a whole bunch of lists of new and great restaurants in the city and when I realized it was only 7 mins away from my event I knew that I had to check it out. I ended up getting here around 9 pm on a Friday night and it was buzzing. Every single table and bar seat was taken. I was able to get on the waitlist and waited for 20 mins for my table. While I waited I ordered the second best dirty martini at the bar. I loved how it was very olive forward and I loved that the cheese in the olives was pecorino instead of blue cheese. It gave it a different twist on a classic and I loved the touch of truffle oil as well. When I got to the table I got the impeccable arm candy. I was totally impressed by this drink. I will even go as far as saying it is the second best drink I have ever had in my life. But be careful they are so good that I ended up having three of them and they will hit you. For food I started with the Bovine tartar. I loved the combination of the raw meat and the bone marrow. If you get a little bit of both on the toast it is an unforgettable bite. If you like tartar I would say it is a must order. For my actual meal I went with the Wagyu New York Strip and the Mushroom Pasta. It was such a great combination. The strip brough this bonemarrow butter on the side that was to die for. When you get the perfect bite of steak with the butter, the sauce and a little bit of mushroom and pasta you will be in heaven!! I am not going to lie I was stuffed by this point but I couldn't leave without trying the dessert. I went with their version of a banana bread with ice cream and a banana. I forgot the name of it, but I loved all the different textures of the dish and it was the perfect ending to an incredible meal. This is exactly the kind of restuarant that will have you coming back for more. ”
“ I've been eyeing The Ends for a hot minute, and wow, why did I wait so long? It was AMAZING. Their fluffy espresso martini? Absolute perfection--like, hands down the best I've ever had. And trust me, I'm basically an espresso martini sommelier at this point. If caffeine and cocktails had a baby, this would be the golden child. From the Bison to the burnt ends, the food was so good I almost wrote it a love letter. The service? Top-notch. The ambiance? A whole vibe--dark, moody, and perfect for pretending you're cooler than you actually are. I'd happily come back to eat and drink my way into a blissful food coma again. ”
“ I've been to The Ends twice now and really enjoyed both visits. Located in the old Kazimirez location in old town (on the quieter side of Scottsdale road) this restaurant pays homage to Anthony Bourdain. Last night we had fantastic service by Anissa and the owner Tommy stopped by the table as well. It's always cool to see owner hands on helping out and chatting with guests. The burnt ends are probably my favorite dish I've tried so far, with the crispy egg yolk nigiri coming in close second. We wanted the lamb last night but ordered too late so they were sold out, but the wagyu NY strip was not a shabby replacement. Solid cocktail & wine list - love the old fashioned and the "best" dirty martini. I believe they offer half priced bottles of wine to go, which is an awesome deal. Highly recommend this new spot! And they are just now opening up for weekend brunch too. ”
“ Hands down, some of the best food and service I've ever experienced! Mia is an absolute gem--she provided the best recommendations and went above and beyond to make our visit unforgettable. If you're looking for a memorable meal with friends or family, I can't recommend this restaurant enough! You won't regret it! ”
“ Do it! ....inspired by Anthony Bourdain this slightly hidden gem has one of the BEST HH in Scottsdale for both fun drinks and small bites. Snuck in just as they opened to sit at the bar for a drink and dessert. I'm a sucker for any type of stuffed olive so the "2nd Best Martini" was obviously what I was going to order. I split the banana bread split with a friend. Look, I tried really hard to get a good pic of this delectable treat but it's like "just put a bag over its head" kinda thing. Absolutely will follow up when I have a whole meal here but I have a feeling it will still be "YAS!" ”
“ Kind of difficult to spot, but once you enter you're transported to a lush, green paradise. Quite the extensive varied menu with options for everyone. Came across some unique items like tempura enoki mushrooms and crispy egg yolk nigiri - I'm sure many people enjoy this but not something I will be reordering. Favorites that bring me back here are the Cacio e Pepe and the crispy brussel sprout salad - both very fresh with lots of flavor! Cocktails were decent, wish there were more wine by the glass options. Overall good restaurant with great staff ”
“ I finally popped in to check this place out after hearing so many recommendations, and wow--what an experience! I initially walked right past the door in the breezeway (used to the old speakeasy entrance), but once I found my way in, I was completely taken aback. This spot is absolutely exquisite! The ambiance, bar setup, dark lighting, and overall vibe are perfection. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made me feel right at home. There were so many regulars at the bar so everyone was friendly. Happy hour is packed with great options. Special shoutout to the mocktail selection. Ben, the charming Bar Manager, made me a "Give Me Goosebumps," and it was so crisp and refreshing--loved the bubbles! Everyone behind the bar was great! So attentive! I went with the raw oysters, which were incredibly fresh and delicious. Such a buttery treat! Doobie warned the Caesar wedge salad is not a classic wedge, it is served much like a side Caesar salad covered in delicious powdery cheese. It was very tasty, but I was surprised by the presentation. Apparently, earlier customers had requested this change and the restaurant accommodated. I personally would love to see the classic wedge back, but certainly nothing was lost in flavor! FYI: for avid hamachi collar lovers, someone had ordered this off the menu and it looked delectable. You might carry a peekaboo in one of my bar photos! ”
